We do loved this hotel a lot! LOCATION is amazing! 3 mins from Charonne metro(9 line, you can easily go to center). 10 mins from Nation (metro: 1, 2, 6, 9. Plus there is RER A, u can easily go to Disneyland in 30 mins). 10 minutes to Place de la Bastille (metro: 5, 1, 8) Every transport you might need will be 5-10 minutes from this hotel. And yeah, Paris is loud at the mornings but this district is way more cleaner and quieter comparing to other one’s. Amazing cafés, supermarkets nearby and pharmacy. HOTEL ROOM, was very comfortable too. Paris Hotels will be small so don’t expect big apartments. But there’s everything you need and even a big shower comparing to other hotels. Clean bathrooms! Everyday cleaning, towel changing, new coffee for your coffee machine in the room. No fridge and no closet, only shelves so standard room is not an option if you have a lot of suitcases and clothes. Design is very modern too. Very cute and modern hotel with a bit of Paris. Rooms with conditioner so cold / hot whatever you need. RECEPTION, best guys ever! Whatever you need, they will help no matter what. There’s is tea, coffee etc for free. And there’s also nice clean cafe on the 1st floor close to reception. We needed to print our tickets and we could easily do it on reception, very thankful for this! PLUS, amazing free Wi-Fi (but I’ll recommend u to buy LucaMobily SIM card 15 euros - 50GB + unlimited calls and texts). If I’m in Paris, that’s definitely the place where I’m staying.

Second stay at Hôtel des Arts Bastille within three months which goes to show how much I appreciate the place! Location: absolutely amazing. Quartier Charonne is amongst the best in Paris to truly live the local life. Rue de Charonne is filled with small boutiques, amazing bakeries, restos (even a Michelin starred one) and bars. Charonne subway station (ligne 9) is a 5 minutes walk from the hotel and the Faidherbe-Chaligny one (ligne 8) is about 7 minutes away. Neighbourhood is extremely lively but quiet at the same time. There are two grocery stores nearby. Facilities: cute hotel, very well maintained and EXTREMELY clean. Staff: everyone at the front office is extremely welcoming, dedicated and helpful. Rooms: on the smaller side but pretty much the norm for Paris. Very practical and comfortable. However, you might have to play a bit of real-life Tetris if you bring a big suitcase. There is a Nespresso coffee machine but no fridge or mini-bar. Heating / AC works well and the bed is super comfortable.

The location was very good as the hotel is Charonne Station Line 9 is just a 4 minute walk. Line 1 was also close just a 7 minute walk. The beds are VERY comfortable and room was OK not big not small. There is an elevator that is a bit scary as it is very small just for 3 people that will be a challenge for claustrophobic people. The stairs are circular and are also quite challenging to go with luggage farther than the second floor. So if you have a lot of luggage ask for a lower level floor. Other than the elevator or stairs this hotel is superb. Staff is also extremely helpful and nice. We try the breakfast and it is really good also.

Great staff, really friendly. Great location, so easy to get to transport, so easy to get to all of the tourist sites via the metro or metro and a bus. Lots of little restaurants and shops in the local area and very easy to walk to cafes and restaurants in the nearby suburbs. The rooms are decorated nicely and are very comfortable, although a little small. The restaurant was fantastic, food was delicious and the staff (especially the Italian waitress) are a credit to the business - such a fantastic and friendly team.

The hotel was really well located, close to metro lines that made it easy to get to major tourist destinations. A lot of great wine bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood. I was worried after reading other reviews that mentioned the rooms being noisy and having 'food smells', thankfully I did not experience this. You could hear a little bit of street noise even with windows closed, but I live in a major city and didn't find it any worse than at home. Did not stop me from sleeping.
